I think MT has done a marvellous job since day one, chalk and cheese compared to the previous management, although to be fair perhaps this is just the natural progression for where were at when he entered (mid phase1 trial with excitement building from positive bio maker results) in tirelessly promoting the company OS at MND conventions, BP, investment community, shareholders via the investment hub( how good is it to have him releasing video summaries via the hub on the same day of important announcements) your right he gets it 100%.
I’m not as sure as some that might think the next study will be as easy to replicate the results as in the phase 1 study. Maybe I don’t understand the science as well but Berry consultants seem to present a solid case.
My main concern is the limited numbers in the trial and the comparison to a matched person on the pro-act database rather than a placebo group. From what I’ve read ALS affects individuals differently with widely varying progression rates and survival times. Obviously to get this far (accepted onto the world’s premiere ALS trial) all the brightest people in the field have ticked it off, that’s something that gives a lot of reassurance.
