To me this is almost the same argument as "not a fund".
VWAP for MLX over the last 12 months is probably something like 35c. Buying here will look stupid if tin cycles back down to lower levels (they should have done it while we based in the high 20's for months but that is a different discussion). So often buybacks are done at suboptimal times.
Buyback should be run at or below 12 month VWAP and otherwise we stack cash and look for growth opportunities IMO
