    Bomjour madam,

Call me old-fashioned, madam, if you so desire, but I believe the specialised climate scientists call of the reality of anthropogenic carbon-induced global warming.

However, I feel contempt for companies being subsidy dependent for success. Therefore, from a Fortescue perspective I wouldn't mourn the demise of the IRA. I want my companies to be lean, mean fighting machines, not sitting around with a begging bowl for government handouts with the insecurity of risking falling over if a subsidy is withdrawn by a change of government. Subsidy dependent companies are for wimps.

Fortescue with carbon-reducing, product differentiation should be able to not only assist in ameliorating global warming reduction, but also assist dramatically with boosting the Fortescue bottom line. I've walked the talk in this way by declining many subsidies in the music industry and consequently our band went from strength to strength, because we had to, in order to survive and then flourish. Fortescue's unsubsidised sections similarly flourish. We don't need the moronic diesel subsidy, in fact, the sooner we give all diesel consumption the flick, the better

Waddaya reckon Madam, do you detect any method in my madness?Wes
