AFR has a dip at RW, page-2

Interesting isn't it. The AFR also ran another story recently about RW.

Simplistically, Wisetech has made many people rich. RW "still owns 35.8% of the company". So RW owns 35% of a company valued at $31b. I heard Howard Coleman have a dig at RW the other day. Now I really admire Howard Coleman, but for a guy like him who continually preaches how important it is to invest in "wealth winners" to come out and (indirectly) criticise Richard White in the same vein that the AFR have is just rotten.

If I was Richard White, I'd be doing exactly the same thing and living life BIG. No point being the richest man on the block when you're dead and buried.

Key person risk...yes. But the biggest risk was not investing in Wisetech when everyone was saying that it was too expensive at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 bucks!

A risk well worth taking.
