But it raises some interesting questions.
So, a question for the brains trust - if SL gets his wish, where does that leave RMS? More to the point, where does it leave their 198M holding? Do they just keep holding and go for the ride? Could they transition to a kind of white knight acting as a de facto warehouse for their stock at the right price, and without whose say-so nothing happens as regards a competing bid?
The way the stake was acquired suggests it's too big - and strategically important - to sell on-market.
If RMS can't/doesn't go full throttle, what are the options?
