G'day xmencer. Does that explain why over 60% of the "Expanatory Notes" to the AGM is devoted to changing the constitution re "Proportional Takeover Provisions."????
The CSG sector is bound to have major consolidation and the more attractive a company gets the more likely that it will be a "target." My, and I am sure R.J's, serious concern is our SP, which would have tempted "proportional takeovers" at a very cheap price and allow "someone" to take over the Board without ordinary shareholders having any say. There are still a lot of shareholders on the books that have no loyalty to ICN and would very happily take a bid of, say, .25 cents, compared to where we are now. But, have no idea why SP is still being hit with so much "potential" "good" news just around the corner.
And, why haven't we got more information on the Beach j/v, as Beach are including it in all of their presentations as a fait accompli? Maybe the j/v has been agreed to "in principle" only thus letting Beach include it, but can't wait to see it signed and sealed AND AT WHAT PRICE????
