Baha'u'llah was born into royalty.

He sacrificed everything, all the vanities of the world, for the Cause of God and was imprisoned and exiled for 40 years as a result. While in prison, He lost His youngest son (who was visiting Him in the prison cell and fell accidentally) who on His last breaths was given the opportunity to be revived by Baha'u'llah, but His son wanted to be a sacrifice for the Cause of Baha'u'llah to enable the unification of the human race.
