That guy was talking sense, Kev. EVs are not going to sweep ICE vehicles away for the foreseeable future. Demand for EVs/Hybrids will increase at a steady rate and thus lithium demand will increase for as long as it remains a key component of their batteries. That probably means that not all current hopeful spodumene producers will succeed, as you have suggested. Most of us here are optimistic that WR1 will be one of those that do, given the advantage Renard seems to offer and the supposed mission of Quebec to become a major integrated player in the North American supply chain. Only time will tell, though. For now, for anyone to definitely come out and say we'll either be a roaring success in 3 or 4 years or else a financial flop is pure speculation and guesswork.
