I admit I was anxious asking that question as it occurred it may be taken as a racial question. but that wasn;'t my point....
as I wrote: "how many generations does your line go back? don't you have a family historical memory of fighting fires in the 60's?"
but it is interesting to learn about backgrounds. but my motive in asking was about the rural population and fires. and how fires were fought compared to todays marvellous hi-tech, yet still gut-wrenchingly physical and dangerous, fires.
