    Yes it would make sense to use historical data to determine the best wells to test, but testing still needs to be conducted. JORC codes restrict mineral estimations to 2km radius surrounding a well for indicated, and 4km radius for inferred. The aim is to cover the land holding by testing a series of wells to cover the lease area.

    Re-entries are performed with work-over rigs, you’re not drilling new wells, just perforating concrete plugs that drillers use to seperate brine horizons from oil horizons.

    The “cores” are only suitable for porosity results, to determine how much liquid the rock can hold, they do not contain lithium like hard-rock cores. That information will get used towards volume estimates not lithium concentrations.

    Honestly the best thing MAN holders can do is go back over the years of ASN announcements regarding drilling just to get an understanding of the huge amount of work and money required.
