I guess the drilled potential reservoir sections have a marginally economical production rate on the lower end.
IF logs, cores, gas shows, pressure data etc. would show parameters of a world class gas reservoir (and not thin and/or poor sdst sections?) IVZ would have already perforated the cemented casing and produced the gas to surface.
But it is good to see that IVZ will get the funds to drill deeper the Mukuyu 2 exploration well and is preparing a well test.
