Not this shit again, I need to see the report but highly likely it is the same guy.

On the 30th Jan 2023, Andrew Gilles (Macquarie) released a massive bearcase report with a low price target of $15.8 (Trading at $17.3), 12 days before the 1HFY24 report citing bullshit reasons to why there may be headwinds for audinate and seemed to be just trying to cause fear. In those 12 days the stock plummeted from $17.29 to $15.12 but when actual results were released it skyrocketed $19.3 on the day and into the $21-22 before the weakness.

Andrew Gilles then one month later on the 12th Feb after factual report increased the price recommendation to $17.9.

I hold little faith in this guys views and it honestly kind of frustrating that again 19 days before the full year report he is releasing such a pervasively negative report against a company that hasn't showed signs of slowdown to the extent that he is reporting in his research.

I am just a retail investor but this feels like using the power of the maquarie name to cause price weakness on purpose to manipulate for an alterior motive weather it is to get an attractive price for his clients or personal connections.
