Not necessarily "fake".
Couple of points:
You still need to have the funds to be able to place an order of size.
The buyer may consider news is on the horizon and is positioning prior to market opening.
Let's not think of manipulation or fake bids every time there are large bids in pre market.
With 5's being chewed, we may see 6's soon.
