the comment by Petrobras E&P director below mirrors the view at present, I daresay, of Meg O'Neil of Woodside with regards to the treatment the fossil fuel exploration and development industry is receiving in Australia under the current labor-greens coalition!

Approval delays at Barossa, Scarborough on Environmental and confected native title claims, and the latest green idiocy, offering new offshore exploration areas, but you cant shoot any new seismic data!!!

More support I believe for Woodside to take a position in PEL 87 to move away from Australia as well as buying LNG projects in the US.

Quote "In an interview with EPBR on Friday, Petrobras' E&P director said that she is evaluating a portfolio of assets “not only in Brazil”, seeking to enter new exploratory frontiers, and recalled that there are currently difficulties and delays in environmental licensing processes for domestic areas in regions such as the Equatorial Margin.

“We want to stay in Brazil, generate jobs and income. But if we are not well-liked, we will find it elsewhere,” said Sylvia.
