It all depends on the physical size of the motor.

Maybe new motors are not required as, during the design stage, of the plant, they upgraded the motors already.

Or if bigger motors are required then, you would need to up size the cable and circuit breakers.

I suspect management would of considered that this would happen.
Time will tell and not hard to change, during maintenance period, would be done quite quickly.
