Given the combined index funds position is JPM (5.04%), State Street (5.27%), Vanguard (5.1%) totally c.15.4%, it wouldn't surprise me if the shorts steadily increase towards 15% as we approach rebalancing effective date. Of course, this is just one theory and I have absolutely no idea about the people or reason/s behind the shorting campaign.
