us hegemony is responsible for hundreds of military interventions in the last 3 decades. hundreds of thousandds of killed civillians (who knows how many more died in the aftermath of vicious us foreign policies) millions displaced dozens of countries subjugated and puppetized (made up word, like the concept of us being a democracy). hundreds of military bases all over the world.
fun fact. when your country hosts a foreign military - that means your country has been subjugated by a country which that military belongs to.
the conflict between "the west" and russia spans centuries buddy. it didn't start with putin.

so what you're saying is that there's been no global confrontation, because usa meddled in internal affairs of countless countries, staged/financed/backed violent coups, assassinated politicians, intervened in countries militarily, all in the name of "world peace"? sounds sort of stupid.
