I would say there is a good chance Top 50 option holders will be called to convert when the company needs money to avoid and/or limit the amount of an alternative Capital Raise.
As you say, some may convert know in this financial year and then the rest next financial year. I will convert mine, so to get the clock ticking on the CGT discount.
