I also noted a report on ABC that asserted the inclusion of the bikies into the CFMEU began after the Labor win in '22. I don't know if thats valid as I couldn't find confirmation in other news reports.
if this is the case though the Lab mob, particularly Burke, has some serious questions to answer.
I hope you're right with your regulator. it's obvious that such is needed in our industries. I'm not anti-union as unions provide the only means of collective negotiations with employers. but CFMEU has gone way too far with their obscene aggressive practices, both with workers and companies.
when the ABCC was installed I expressed my hope that the construction companies would also be regulated. this seems not to have come to be.
imo neither brand of govt did a decent job on this matter.
