    Strongman mine, 1967 18 dead. Strongman is on the other side of that mountain. That's why the negativity. They've seen it all before.

    However, Peter Whittle said there are safe areas in the mine, with water and oxygen. And each miner had a temp oxy supply to buy time to get to a safe area. If any survived the blast, they will be able to breath...one small mercy
