That's fine, you're entitled to believe whatever you will.

As far as 'current scientific understanding' is concerned, 200 years ago you could get away with what you believe because science was under the thumb of religion's dogma and superstition, but every year that goes by now marginalises people holding beliefs like yours, so please don't hold your breath waiting for science to support you, that will never happen again. Truth will always eventually rise to the top as it has.
