Are you suggesting that stating the obvious is equivalent to racism? Noel Pearson was escalated up to the FMG board for a reason, and that reason was financial. It has nothing to do with his financial or mining expertise. Twiggy and his team did their sums, and figured he would be an asset to the board. Most likely, his asset would be his indigenous experience, knowledge and connections. All sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Is this a racist assessment?
