You clearly don’t comprehend (or are playing dumb) that the viability of the 2ktpa plant depends on market conditions.
Opportunities, circumstances and plans change.
Simple.
Other companies are also at the mercy of these factors; anyone here who is not aware of others pausing due to market conditions has their head in the sand.
The key flaw in your so-called logic (or should we call it LOLgic?) is that it ignores that larger plant brings economies of scale, and simply assuming that a larger plant will be uneconomical - considering this factor alongside evolving market conditions and the time it will take to construct the expansion - is nonsensical.
You and some others are boldly proclaiming that “the project” is uneconomical, yet you provide nothing to support this gross generalisation.
Nothing whatsoever; just layman’s hollow claims and “logic” based on generalisations around current costs and pricing. Then you double down with hollow claims about technical capability.
Yourself and others like frenchy, if you had the capability to perform even rather basic fianacial analysis, would see what various pricing and cost scenarios actually mean wrt project viability.
But you don’t, you just make bold claims that you can’t support with anything meaningful.
Your continual gaslighting about the pilot plant, btw, has been shown to be nonsense, and just illustrates that you will say anything - even if it is blatantly fabricated - just to suit your doomsday narrative:
