Instead of enforcing safety guidelines/penalties for international companies, they instead decide to drastically suspend half the countries mining leases just when serious foreign investment was entering.
Heard from someone who just got back from there, that while infrastructure is a bit lacking the are trucks galore shipping minerals/coal into China. Can't help wondering if big brother next door had a hand in the decision.
Have a minor interest in the sector, but will be expecting touchings for co's active in the area - well at least until more is known anyhow.
