from DC himself clarifying the funding
The critical mineral funding was originally for the integrated project. The 17 April 2024 announcement noted that this funding could be used for the upstream project. The 17 April announcement also noted that EFA had not identified any fatal flaws in its due diligence.
The funding remains conditional.
I hope this clarifies things.
