Yes interesting. Cameco announce at the Q2 conference call that all systems go and then 24 hours later Kazatomprom announce things not quite as bad as previously advised and they now expect a marginal increase in production numbers. I've not read their report so don't know if that means they've found the acid they were seeking, decided increases in their local taxes was a non-issue or they simply re-ran the numbers on the abacus. But regardless CCJ dropped overnight and local uranium stocks tanked today. Silex less so than others. I acknowledge there was the usual froth at the top of the recent cycle but curious that the market can get so spooked given the extent of projected demand for the product. Definitely be a crap haircut if you bailed today.
