SAR-bisPSMA will biodistribute in the same way irrespective of the isotope. In that sense, whether it’s carrying the diagnostic isotope 64Cu or the therapeutic isotope 67Cu it should go to the same places in the body in the same proportions. The safety however, will not be the same as the therapeutic effect of the beta emitting 67Cu isotope will damage healthy and unhealthy tissue alike. SAR-bisPSMA binds to healthy cells expressing PSMA, so the measure of safety will look at the more pronounced impact of irradiation on healthy tissue versus unhealthy tissue when using 67Cu as opposed to 64Cu.
