I wonder what the terms of this raise will be. They arn't desperate for cash, and DTs a bit of a Maverick when it comes to shareholder value, so I suspect the raise will be reasonable. Good timing with markets chocking on horrendous NFP with downward revisions for June. Finally getting that we are in stagflation. Gold miners getting sold off as colateral. Last buying opportunity in them imo. Their business is gold, not dependant on traditional consumer buying power, so earnings won't get hit.
Talks of an emergency rate cut before september meeting, 80% chance of 50bp cut in september. Rising unemployment with elevated inflation...... got gold? The reason I've been buying miners for the past 8 years is here, stagflation. Big money is starting to realise the shitshow and like a river through a straw they'll come squeezing in, bidding up the companies they didn't have the foresight, nor the judgement, to buy early.
