@Margaret63 - yes THE CAT - has taken over - she is now talking to me in serious and loud meeouwws, waits for me in the evening (when I usually watch a bit of TV) to spread a soft blanket over my knees and then comes and sleeps on my knees - a big change for a wild cat. She now tries to 'invade' my bedroom at night, but I cannot sleep with her on my bed, because I stay semi-awake as to not 'disturb her' - how is that for 'total control' of a human by a mini-critter? So she awaits the open bedroom door in the morning and immediately takes control of my bed then. She is there right now and gets miffed when I go in to 'make the bed'.
But it isn't as bad as having a needy dog, who pursues you day and night in search of praise, walkies, treats, etc. - it is still a living thing around you.
As you would know - how are your pussycats
and your children?
Looking forward to a response!
take care
