Well, seeing as you profess to know nearly everything why is it that you couldn’t conceive the fact that maybe, just maybe the board was asked for approval to purchase these shares at a given date in the future thereby eliminating any conflict with being in possession of price sensitive information? This of course could be a little to simple an explanation for your superior mind.
