The numbskulls have no idea whatsoever - they wait for a company to “tell them” what the financial modelling indicates wrt NPV, IRR etc etc, because they have NFI how to do their own assessments.
THAT is a major part of the reason that they continue to fumble along with their “investments”, getting smashed by the BEOT both emotionally and financially.
It’s clear as day what the OPEX needs to be in order to support an economically-viable expansion, for various longer-term pricing and production scenarios, yet they are more interested in trying to discredit someone than trying to actually understand the potential of the business.
There’s good reason that the vast majority of retail flail about and NeVeR make serious bank - and there are some prime examples right here on this forum.
One giveaway is their total ignorance about project development; for example making gross absurd generalisations like “the pilot plant failed” and “the 2ktpa plant failed”, whilst having absolutely ZERO awareness of - and demonstrating absolutely ZERO analysis of - the the various objectives and success criteria associated with these parts of the project, let alone comprehending their criticality and influencing factors.
They’ll still be doing the same in 20 years bickering about irrelevant BS, making mediocre returns, selling when the should be buying; mark my words.
If they don’t/can’t do their own detailed assessments, they can continue to attack and blame others when their “investment” turns red.
Ignorance is bliss.
