if you ignore global warming and the necessity to reduce Co2 emissions, you then have a chance of being right. but in our modern times, where the necessity is real, EVs are an essential part of the transition. if you don't accept this you're likely living a mindset that rejects that which you see as a threat to your personal choices. but this is false as none are forcing You to change. you continue to have your choices.
I've stayed with my VW with an ave 5L/100km (rural driving) because I don't like the Li ion tech. I distrust it and I'm waiting for better tech. I too make my choice. this doesn't change either the improvements that EV tech has over ICE (maybe you should try driving an EV) or the need to transition.
