Scott, I too have had a family member with disability. Not me but another family member else became a full time carer on a Carer's meagre allowance. That allowance was too meagre in my view because the carer's sacrifice saved the state a great deal.
On the other hand relatives being paid $60/hr and $120hr on Sundays to mind troublesome children ( Boof Heads, Asbergers or whatever) is excessive.
