    I find it fascinating that humans not long back paid zip for their accommodation - the only price paid was to chase out or wait out something living inside a cave - and then, the humans could move in, light a fire and have a cosy home.
    Their survival depended on their ability to gather food and see off predators who wanted them for dinner.

    So, we humans then, stopped in the one spot - grew our food and made fake caves

    and since then, accommodation has become a problem, when before - it never was.

    amazing really

    and in our modern society - where people cannot get a dry and sheltered place to sleep - we have entire cities full of building spaces which are empty at night

    go figure ------- what a cockup humans are
