They’ve shown respect to this offer by agreeing to take a look at it - nothing more or less. That is what you’d expect them to do.
If they have other offtake/funding options in the pipeline (which is what they’ve been indicating) and they’re not putting much time into the MetalsX proposal then it’s indicative that something better is in the pipe.
If nothing else it shows GLN isn’t ‘cooked’ - far from it. Other parties are sniffing around because they know it’s under priced and there is value here.
