I think the answer to your question is because PLS is in a position where it doesn't need to do it. As I have said to you, as long as it is still profitable even if the price of Li remains low, it should continue with its production and expansion plans.
As soon as it reduces its production or postpones its expansion plan, its share price will fall hard just like ALB. And that would only please the non-shareholders.
