    I don't agree. It is still here. You only have to have been caught up in the floods recently to see that it is still here. The problem is that there are two or three competing "characters", particularly in the cities, that are the ones trying to break down the aussie traditions. Lucky for me I am not living in one of the larger cities.

    We can still laugh at ourselves, be politically in-correct if we choose the right time and are in the right company. Usually, you only offend those that specialise or delight in being offended. I can then delight in offending them.

    Try saying "g-day" to a stranger more often. Or be more "Australian" and say "G-day, mate".
