Yes it is an interesting development. Why would the MD of a $2.5 billion company want to be on the board of a $4.1 million company? It doesn’t make sense. Looking at Westgold it’s got an enormous growth potential and his hands should be full. Why muck around with OD6? he could give unofficial advice over a coffee or a barbecue. He doesn’t need the money and he has to attend meetings 8 last year when he could be doing far better things with his time.It is a very positive announcement and only good can come out of it.
