Fernit, it doesn't matter where WA were to buy the U308 from in Australia it would still be sent over seas to be enriched and turned into pellets then put into rods for fuel use. No company in Australia does this process it is another thing that is illegal here. That won't be legal for decades in all probability. But as you say if Dutton were to force the WA government to build a nuclear power plant down in Collie that would surely break the camels back to get the ban lifted on uranium mining. If they didn't budge then they would be looked upon by the entire world as insane brats. I think it may have a snowballing effect which could lift the ban.
