If having people in an office will produce superior outcomes then they should be in an office. It's not clear that's the case. Certainly in my own circumstances working from home has been a godsend. We used to be required to be in an office for set hours, often sitting around with nothing to do. Working from home requires the same volume of work be completed, without the requirement to sit at a desk with nothing to do at the end of the day to satisfy the time requirements.
