SPR is the best gold discovery in recent times (with more potential from further ongoing exploration - there could be another Pepper or Never Never discovered along the greenstone belt. 4 rigs spinning)
RMS would be mad to let this opportunity go, especially with all the synergies between the two
They've positioned themselves with around 18% so that they dont lose it to anyone else
Their plan certainly wasn't to day trade / swing trade this position. But i think if they wait too long / if SPR continues to deliver - it may become out of reach
Will be interesting to see how this plays out
