Instead of continuous churlishness, why don't you try dealing in factual context for a change?
Because, since the deal was announced (~12 months ago), there has been a significant slowing in the global economy, including China. This obviously has bearing on the valuation of resource stocks.
Since the announcement of the transaction and since the the finalisation of the acquisition (~6 months ago), WHC has outperformed the significant resource sector benchmark stocks by a wide margin (only RIO has done a few % better on a 12-month time frame).
