Paul Keating is 100% correct on the AUKUS issue. Is Keating the only person in Australia with any clout willing to talk common sense and speak up for Australia's sovereignty? We certainly don't have any media willing to question the wisdom behind the handing over of Australia's sovereignty to the USA. Sarah Ferguson kept rattling on about China's military build up but what Keating should have said is that China is surrounded by 400 US military bases. Why wouldn't they build up their military with the US track record of aggression over the last 100 years. However, Keating did say how Australia would be militarized with US bases all around Australia. We would never get rid of them if this is allowed to happen and they would treat us like they treat all the other countries that they occupy, which would be a disaster.
