Nice find and walks through the presentation providing some insight. What concerns me is old mate does not appear to be across LFB pencil porphyrys. His reference point is SA IOCG’s. The closest deposit to Spur is a pencil porphyry literally over the hill to the east. Another 50-100m east or west and it would have been missed. It’s the find that made Newcrest. It’s high grade and the highest grade porphyry in the world. Newmont wanted it for the Newcrest block cave smarts. It’s blind and has no surface gold even though it’s buried 500m. It’s called Ridgeway and it ain’t no typical low grade large porphyry. Old mate ends up redeeming himself with the epithermal analysis thank goodness. However, do not underestimate the high grade pencil porphyry potential here at Spur and all around the perimeter of that central monzonite intrusion for that matter. Check out NC498…
