If the economy has be re-engineered to take mothers out of the home and into the workforce then my belief is the economy should pay the price of third party rearing of the children.

Of course some would argue child care is also respite care for frazzled mums, but all the more reason for child care.

Unfortunately child care centres are generally under staffed and over subscribed and they teach incidious ideas like sharing, guilt, shaming and gender dysphoria.... which requires a Dad to undo if he's ever home between work committments and fishing.
