1.embarras putin - yes, it makes total sense to sacrifice thousands of your well-trained troops, vehicles, weapons, to embarass someone...instead of committing all of that to reinforce certain areas of the front lines, where ukrainians keep losing territories, despite the kursk incursion

2. draw in russ troops from other areas to protect russ borders reducing numbers in occupied terriories of Ukraione - no evidence of that happening to an extent that will change the situation on the battlefield in any meaningful way. besides, this thing works both ways. a new front line will require ukrainian army stretching itself even thinner. a new front line in kursk needs men, weapons and ammo. where's that going to come from? i've heard ukro army want to start "kidnapping" 18 year olds now.

3. threaten gas still going to Europe through that gas hub (??) - why would ukrainians be threatening european gas? europeans paid for it, so its technically theirs, not russias, lol. plus ukros get paid for transitting it.

4.provide a morale boost for Ukrainians and those supporting them - morale boost by getting hundreds (soon to be thousands) of well trained troops slaughtered for no particular long term strategic objective? loololol. genius.

5. steriliese that area of the border of military assets used to raid into Ukraine - hahahaha. and how is that going? there wasn't much in a sense of military assets in the kursk region. its obvious... well, there is now. guess where that's going to move to after uaf is defeated in kursk?

this whole thing is nothing but a global pr stunt. another 'performance' put on a by a coke-snorting leader of the worlds number one idiocracy, to achieve some vague short term goals. which strategically have a potential to accelerate the process of uaf's defeat.
