I don't think he's shocked to see Nigel Farage 'distance' himself from Tommy [that's putting it mildly] because Farage is a politician and his priority is getting as many votes as he can. As long as NF stays true to his mandate I think he has the ability to do far more for the UK than TR. Tommy is a symbol of freedom that can be distorted while Nigel has his feet in the halls of power and knows he needs to tread very carefully to increase his numbers without ending up in prison under this dictator going crazy with power.
