I can quite easily turn around & say for every seller there is a buyer & a big hedge fund was buying today, just soaking the shares up as people sold. You can see the games that can be played here on HC.
It's two sides of the same coin. Someone sold $50K worth of stock today, but, some bought $50K worth of stock today. Whoever was selling, someone was there to buy it.
