yes I was satisfied but I had more going on in my shoulder than just tears in my supraspinatus ligament. I also had to have surgery. The ATI promotes healing but it does not to quote my surgeon “fill holes”. My SL was also thinned and frayed from being impinged upon by my shoulder blade and my bicep tendon was found to also be partially detached and both had to be repaired.
ATI is also suspected to be less effective in 65+ year olds but no evidence from trials for that.
in summary ATI is very good where the problem is tendon tears and you do the physio after the procedure. OCC provides the design for the physio program.
I had an MRI after all was done just to see what had happened. All problem areas looked improved and my shoulder function very good now. ATI played its part for me.
