If you'll pardon my further comment. They say the cure for low prices is low prices.
Meaning when metal prices are low the impetus for price rises goes up, through consumption and need for more exploration.
It's not a huge step to then say, the cure for lack of financing of Cu mines is the need to finance more of them on the same basis.
Simple and hackneyed I know but as Rick Rule saysIf you want to invest in Resouces you have to be counter-cyclical.
